Dear Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,
I hope this finds you well. On behalf of the people of Ghana, sincere apologies for the agony your nationals who were on voluntary duty had to go through in the hands of some unscrupulous government-sponsored militia. How I wish you took them away to be tried in Quebec.
Frankly, it has never been in our DNA as a country to be this cruel especially towards foreign nationals. As a matter of fact our hospitality has been globally hailed and acknowledged until lately when things took a different turn after power changed hands from one visionary, @JDMahama to a talkative @NAkufoAddo, who recently was in your country, Vancouver to deepen our woes with his narrow perspective on gender advocacy at the #WD19. As for that embarrassment, you are privy to it and my earlier “correspondence” to you did indicate the numerous lies he spewed, regarding having recruited over 5000 young men for the “He For She” campaign when he was hearing that for the first time, his grip on facts and figures are area disaster so pardon us, but do you know he is an @_African Union gender advocate, lol, TIA [This Is Africa]
As the @CanadianPM I wish to plead with your government to let your security experts stay much longer in Ghana in order to help us find another set of 3 kidnapped girls. They went missing for more than a year now and to bet sincere with you our @GhPoliceService CID boss recently assured the entire nation in a publicly televised press conference that her team knew the location of the kidnapped girls only for us to realise later that she was speaking on April 1 [April fools’ day]. She added insults to our injuries by later admitting she was merely giving hope to the nation and families of the missing girls by her #Hope speech on April fools’ day. Is that a norm, from the police, we still don’t know till date but you may tell us if you do that in your Maple leaf nation of Canada. Her name is Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, yes her name sounds similiar to our president but she denies any relation, we care less though!!! I’m sure your men met her, she is our top most investigator in the whole Ghana.
Mr @JustinTrudeau, earlier when the girls got missing we were also told that our security forces were seeking foreign assistance to investigate and possibly rescue these girls. Till date I can’t tell which foreign country my dear Ghana Police/govt reached out to though my suspicion is between Benin and Afghanistan.
Sir, I know your team was overwhelmed the few days they have spent here regarding how porous our system is, how compromised our personnel are and how weak our intelligence gathering, etc, is but please kindly have “mercy on our dear Mercy Oppong” and let your men stay.
We will provide very fantastic hospitality for them to keep them “entertained”, serve them food from our farms, farms which were largely cultivated by women who someone said have not done enough to deserve a seat at the table of men [decision making table]. I hope you don’t let Dr Alaa Mubarit (@almmura) chance on this because she may feel compelled to shift the dinner venue to Ghana, and ….
I hope your men’s stay will be extended to enable them help our UNDERCOVER SECURITY EXPERTS.
Note: But for your timely intervention your girls may have been used for political rituals seemingly by an irresponsible and reckless ruling govt or were just being used to frame an innocent and responsible opposition
Akwaaba
