The Founding President of IMANI Africa, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe has made a crucial revelation on the subversion of human rights by the Electoral Commission in the December 7, 2020 election.
The EC after disenfranchising the people of SALL and leaving them to their own fate later sighted jurisdictional inaccuracies or poor demarcations that led to the dispute between them and the people of SALL.
Meanwhile, in a Facebook post, sighted by Awake News, Mr. Cudjoe revealed that ballots papers were apparently printed by this same EC for the people of SALL (Santrokofi, Akpafu Lolobi and Likpe) to vote in Hohoe Constituency.
He noted that the legal tassel going on is caused by “the EC through the connivance of vested interests issued the most barbaric order to these human beings not to vote”.
The Electoral Commission that supervised the creation of new regions, has entangled itself in legal crisis as on the eve of the 2020 Elections the Commission prevented the people of SALL from voting parliamentary but only presidential.
The EC issued a release explaining that they had no time to create a separate constituency for these communities, hence their omission from the parliamentary elections. This has so far being met with a stiffer resistance from well-meaning Ghanaians.
After the election, some residents of these communities and the NDC later secured an injunction on gazetting of the parliamentary results and the declaration of Mr. Peter Amewu as MP-elect.
The court order has subsequently being moved to the supreme court by the Attorney General through an ex parte with a motion to quash the order, the Attorney General represented by Godfrey Dame is alleging of Jurisdiction jurisprudence. The case ongoing at the court today.

No decent human being anywhere in robes, wigs or suit should be seen encouraging such“.
