The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Ketu North Constituency, Eric Edem Agbana, has sponsored the final mock examinations for the 1,972 final-year Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the constituency.
The gesture is meant to aid the students in adequately preparing themselves for the upcoming final exams that start on Monday, July 8.
Best Brain Examination Konsortium organizes the mock exams but the Ketu North Municipal Directorate of Education will supervise it. It is scheduled to run from Tuesday, June 18 to Monday, June 24.
“This sponsorship is a key part of a broader educational strategy aimed at improving the quality of teaching and learning while enhancing candidates’ preparedness for the exams,” part of the statement from Hon. Agbana’s team, reads.
In another show of love and commitment to improving education in the constituency, the PC pledged to donate mathematical sets to all the 1,972 candidates in the constituency.
Mr. Agbana also announced a reward package for candidates who achieve an aggregate score between six (6) and ten (10) in the BECE. This policy, according to him, is designed to improve the educational outcomes in Ketu North.
