Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North, Hon. Edem Agbana, has strongly criticized Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, MP for Assin South, over his recent allegations concerning ‘suspicious’ aircraft activity at the Kotoka International Airport.
In reaction to the opposition MP’s walkout from JoyNews’ studio earlier on Saturday, Hon. Agbana said; “When put to the strict test, Ntim Fordjour couldn’t withstand the scrutiny. He walked out of the studio, claiming the host was embarrassing him.”
The Ketu North MP further cautioned his colleague against using his position to spread unverified information under the guise of parliamentary oversight.
“Don’t hide behind parliamentary oversight to peddle falsehood again,” he warned in a post on X.
The allegations, which suggested that certain aircraft were involved in transporting illicit substances and money, have stirred significant controversy in the country.
Meanwhile, President Mahama has directed state security agencies to investigate, in collaboration with Hon. Fordjour, the allegations.
