EC disqualifies five presidential candidates

Information from a reliable source to awakenewsroom.com indicates that the electroral comission has disqualified five (5) presidential candidates.

The list of the disqualified candidates includes two independent candidates and three other party candidates, the two independent candidates are Kofi Koranteng and
Marricke Kofi Gane.

Here are the candidates for the 2020 Presidential Election as announced by the Chairperson of the electoral comission, Jean Mensa;

1. Alfred Walker
2. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
3. Christian Kwabena Andrews
4. Bridgette Dzobegnuku
5. John Dramani Mahama
6. Akua Donkor
7. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings
8. Hassan Ayariga
9. Ivor Greenstreet
10. Henry Herbert Lartey
11. Kofi Akpaloo
12. David Apesera

The five candidates who are disqualified are;

3. Akwasi Odike
4. Kwesi Busumburu
5. Agyenim Boateng

However we are yet to get the reaction of these five candidates if they intend to fight for a second chance to appear on the ballot paper. This is not the first time that the E.C has disqualified presidential candidates, it would be recalled that Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom had to go to court in 2016 for his name to be reinstated his on the ballot paper.
