Amadu Sulley, sacked Deputy EC

Information reaching Awake News indicates that the sacked Deputy Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC) Mr. Amadu Sulley is allegedly refusing to return his official vehicles to the Electoral Commission.

His alleged refusal to return the official cars, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Audi A6 assigned to the Commission has compelled the Director of Administrator, Mr. Christian Owusu-Parry to official write to him to return the cars.

Mr. Amadu Sulley has been removed from office by the President of Ghana following a recommendation by Cheif Justice Committee set up to investigate some allegations brought against him and his college Ms. Georgina Opoku Amankwah in a petition filed by a citizen of Ghana, Emmanuel Korsi Senyo accusing the duo of incompetence, misappropriation of funds and illegal vote transfer among others.

The Committee chaired by a Supreme Court Judge, Justice A.A Benin, after six months of hearing found the two deputy Electoral Commissioners guilty and has subsequently recommended that they are removed from office.
