A former Constituency Communications Officer for Ajumako Enyan Esiam constituency, Mr. Kweku Sarpong, has commended Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson for his outstanding leadership in revitalizing Ghana’s economy.
He indicated that, since assuming office, Dr. Forson has implemented policies promoting economic growth, alleviating the suffering of Ghanaians, and creating jobs for the youth.
He stressed that, Dr. Forson’s commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparency was evident during his vetting process, where he pledged to abolish obnoxious taxes which include: E-levy, betting tax and emissions tax imposed by the previous administration.
“True to his word, he has taken bold steps to scrap these taxes, providing relief to Ghanaians and stimulating economic activity.” he said
According to him, Dr Forson”s willingness to collaborate with other ministries and stakeholders to drive economic growth is laudable, adding that his humility, sense of humor, and empathy towards ordinary Ghanaians have earned him widespread admiration and respect.

Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson recently met with the WFP Country Representative to boost the School Feeding Programme. He said, the government has allocated 1.78 billion cedis to improve nutrition and ensure timely payments to caterers.
He added that, the government will also review the program with the World Bank to make it more efficient and sustainable.
