Our mindsets make us who we are; who we become and how we take advantage of opportunities. There are varied, fair money-making opportunities in the world today which are enhanced by technology, if you don’t understand or adduce your mind to them, don’t label them. Every good opportunity serves somebody’s purpose in life, and if they find their fulfillment in those opportunities, it serves their conviction.
Some people think employment is the only dignified way of life and they spent all their lives working either in the public or private sector to fulfill their dreams. In fact, I have no problem with that. That is their conviction and if it fulfills their aspirations, it serves their purpose. Private and public sector organizations and NGOs are anchored by dignified employees who make those sectors endure and become successful. There many people who find their fulfillment in private and public sector services as employees.
Others talk about business as the only deal for “money power” and condemn others who think working for government institutions or the private sector are wasting their lives which I disagree with. There is dignity in work, and if you can’t establish your own business get employment and hold bone and flesh together until you are convinced to venture into business. Business is not for the faint-hearted; but it is a good venture, if you find your purpose in it apply your mind, persist and you will succeed. However, don’t make it as if it is the only way of making fair money. The truth is it helps you command wealth, but all people think fulfillment comes only come from business.
The part which I think many loose sites of is an investment. An employee needs it and a business owner needs it. You can be employed and invest, and you can invest as a business owner to support your business development or expansion. This works together to help the employee and the business owners to have stability in financial matters. Today there are multiple investment opportunities we can think of; in the banks, capital markets, land, franchise, network marketing, and many more: you can name them. We also have virtual capital investments which is now a new deal in some parts of the world.
I have had misgivings about how people who promote networking products try to undermine employment as if suddenly all people must leave their jobs and go into network marketing. What these people forget is that every business; either regular or network marketing businesses must have business structures and these structures must be managed by people. So, you cannot call an employment rat race, because employees are needed in every organization. You can be an employee and develop your business and later employ others to work for you. You can be an employee and still invest in network marketing companies and even stocks.
Another angle of this issue is people condemning others who believe in network marketing. Some say people who believe in network marketing are materialistic or are looking for quick money. One truth is networking marketing is a strategic way of promoting products and services, and the easiest way of marketing some products which come with many more advantages and raise people’s padfolio. From an Africa perspective, our forefathers in farming communities did and are doing communal labor to support each other in farming. The system is such that two, three, four, five, or more farmers come together; schedule to work for each other in a rotational form to clear their land for farming, sow crops and help each other cultivate their crops. This system helps farmers who can’t afford to pay laborers. This is the same system adopted through the use of technology to distribute products and also support people who are ready to invest to contribute and achieve their financial and career goal which is approved by many developed and progressive countries.
I know of people’s reservations about network marketing and most people brand it as a pyramid scheme. Well, the truth is some schemes are not genuine and they are clear scams, however, there are genuine network marketing schemes too. Not only that, but I also know of financial institutions which seem to be genuine, but can’t qualify to be call banks or financial institutions, because they are not known to the regular or regulators, and some of their strategies defile logic. Mind you, unscrupulous people take advantage of everything for their selfish gain to the detriment of the system.
Thus, to join a network marketing company; either for product distribution or to invest in Cryptocurrencies, you must do your homework well. You must know their origin; country of origin; if they are certified to operate in that country or your country. You must get the right information and get the right training; these are very important. Again, some people come online to recruit for network marketing companies; you must check their backgrounds, their locations, their friends, and their status in the network company. Don’t listen to their vivid stories and fall for them. If you are not careful some will scam you.
The truth is there are many opportunities for making money genuinely today, but if you don’t know you can’t take advantage of them. And from where I stand and with my experiences from the past you can be an employee and still invest and you can be a business owner and invest in other ventures for financial stability or as a way of learning new ways of doing things and network with genuine people along the way. There are other genuine opportunities for making money that I don’t believe in, but will not stereotype them, because they believe in them.
As a fact, I got interested in network marketing in 2002 and invested in a couple of them including Tianchi. Though I could not make enough money, the experience, connecting with people and learning from others is my asserts. I still invest in network marketing companies and cryptocurrency, though I have my own company am developing and I work for a boss. I see it all as means of helping me to fulfill my dreams, connecting with people, and growing my people network. You must make your choice without unnecessarily or unfairly criticizing others because of your limited knowledge, unbelief or conviction.
