Concerned Youths of Gomoa Central Constituency in the Central Regional is calling on President Nana Akufo-Addo not to consider giving any appointment to Naana Eyiah Quansah, their Member of Parliament.

Speaking an interview to Awake News, the leadership of the group, threaten to stage a mammoth demonstration against her for what they described as failing the constituents. They opinioned that the MP is not working to better the lives of the Youths in the constituency but interested in buying votes to secure her political position.

“Her main focus is sharing cash for votes instead of helping her constituents to secure good jobs because she is afraid of competition” – Mr. Akrofil told Awake News Agaatorne Asaah Douglas

They added that since madam Naana Eyiah Quansah is not interested in helping her people but rather ensuring they are impoverished so she could continue to control them, President Akufo-Addo should make her understand that politics is about improving the lives of the people and not about only an individual.

The leader of the group Mr. Akrofil said “look at free SHS, Planting for food and jobs, one village one dam, and many others. Nana Addo is not greedy and that is why we are all enjoying these policies, so why is she that wicked and greedy?

She was the deputy minister for lands and natural resources and also a Board member of GRIDCO, but she never helped the Youths”.

The leader concluded by stressing that in their intended demonstration against her, they shall prove to Ghanaians the kind of MP madam Naana Eyiah Quansah is.
