The Maklalo designate Joseph Tetteh Freeman of Wedokum for the Hiowe Division of the Shai State in the Shai Osudoku District in the Greater Accra Region pays a courtesy call on the Maklalo of Ogome State in the Yilo Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region, Nene Tetteh Avi II.
Joseph Tetteh Freeman, who will soon be installed as Mantse/ Maklalo with his entourage and some principal elders visited Nene Tetteh Avi II to have a close door discussion and also to revive the ancient friendly relationship and practices between their predecessors.
One of this ancient practices is an annual ritual that is performed on Jackson boundary Pillars that demarcated the boundary plans between the Ogome State and Dodowa.
Nene Tetteh Avi II and his council was pleased with the visit and is prepared to strengthen the relationship and be represented for the continuity of the ancient custom And tradition.
He added that the traditional custom are ancient official legal records bonded by a strong spiritual backing that is transmitted from one generation to another.
The rejection or non practice of these custom he said had allowed scrupulous people to evade their values and ancient lands.
