[ads1][dropcap]T[/dropcap]he only reason they are free is that the NPP is in power. President Akufo-Addo appointed the IGP and the Attorney General.
If the police did a shoddy job and could not provide evidence to prosecute people who committed a crime in broad day light and were filmed in the process, then the president must axe the IGP.
IF, on the other hand, the police did their work well, but the Attorney General decided to play politics with this, then the president ought to fire the Attorney General.
But it doesn’t seem that will happen because all the officials involved in this shameful act may have the blessing of the NPP, the government and the President himself.
The leader of the Delta Forces said on Joy FM that their membership in Ashanti Region has increased from 4000 to 7000 and more are still joining.
The government’s handling of the issue has provided a lot of incentives to hooliganism and the rule of anarchy. And the myth surrounding Akufo-Addo as a staunch advocate of the rule of law and justice is being crushed.
