The Vice President, Dr. Bawumia touched on what he described as the bad governance of former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC, which he said made life very difficult for the people of Ghana while making reference to the cancellation of nursing and teacher training allowances, freeze on employment,  Dumsor and many other things that hindered the progress of the nation.

Dr. Bawumia, however stated that the current NPP government has turned things around for the Ghanaian people.

Dr. Bawumia reiterated Government’s intervention during this Covid season which he said has brought an unprecedented relief to the good people of Ghana.

He affirmed government’s commitment to making  all raods in the country motorable; not that that is why President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo declared the year 2020 as Year of Roads.

Dr. Bawumia promised the Chief Imam of the district upon his request, an Islamic hospital and model secondary school in the Zongo.

The two projects are expected to be done with support from the Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Energy.
