A leading voice in the New Patriotic Party, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has accused the current NDC administration of gross incompetence and deception, saying they lied their way into office and are now failing Ghanaians miserably.
Taking to social media, Aboagye lashed out at the Mahama-led government over what he described as an alarming hike in cement prices and a severe shortage across the country.
“Cement prices have increased by a shocking GH¢45 in just four months of your presidency. From GH¢85 in January 2025 to GH¢130 in April. Meanwhile, under the NPP, it took eight years for cement to go up by GH¢55,” he wrote.
He didn’t stop there. According to Aboagye, Ghanaians are not only paying more for cement but also struggling to find it on the market.
“There’s a cement shortage. You can’t even find it to buy!” he added.
He labeled the current leadership as “clueless, arrogant braggarts” who deceived voters to win power and have now proven incapable of managing the country’s basic needs.
Aboagye’s comments have sparked intense debate online, as frustration grows over the cost of living and the state of the economy.
