He noted that the community lacked a lot of social amenities and infrastructure and notable among them is a health centre. Speaking at the annual Ndipuandaan festival, the Chief indicated that lack of a health facility in the area has deprived them of accessing healthcare. He, therefore, appealed to the District Chief Executive to consider putting up a CHPS Compound in the area.

Roads in Beiyando, a farming community in the Krachi Nchumuru District are in a deplorable state which hinders the movement of people, goods and services within the District. The Chief, therefore, appealed to the government to consider the people of the area in the sharing of the national cake.

He was grateful to the erstwhile John Mahama government for the construction of a school in the area to improve the educational standards as well as some developmental projects.

The District Chief Executive of Krachi Nchumuru, Augustine Kwasi Appiah in his address said measures are in place to bring the needed development to the area. He said, an arrangement is being made to provide accommodation for students of the Nchumuru Community Day School to enable the school becomes a boarding school and for students to also benefit from the free SHS policy being implemented by the President Akuffo-Addo government. He revealed that many developmental projects will be rolled out soon in the district.

He advised the indigenes especially the youth to desist from actions and behaviours that do not augur well for the community. He called on all and sundry to be security conscious and assist the security to clamp down on armed robbery and thievery in the area.

The Member of Parliament for the area, John Majisi called for oneness and unity among the indigenes of the town. He promised to work hand in hand with the District Chief Executive to bring development to the area. According to him, belonging to different political parties do not make people enemies. He advised people to desist from causing division among people who do not belong to the same political party.

The Ndipuandaan festival is an annual celebration of the Konkomba people to signify the end of the year and usher in the New Year as well as the harvest of the new GuineaCorn from the farming season. The four days celebration saw a lot of activities and rich cultural displays.
