As today been exactly one week of the death of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama, traditional leaders in the Denkyira Obuasi in the Upper Denkyira West District have asked for forgiveness from Ghanaians as they perform rites to pacify the gods.

According to them, they fear calamities befalling the land following the gruesome murder of Adam Mahama and need to perform some rites to prevent any such occurrences in the area and also to prevent any curse that the death of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama might bring upon them.
