It is my single honour to share this invitation to the Africa Diaspora Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Investment Summit and Excellence Awards 2019 scheduled to take place from November 27 – 29, 2019 at the Go Glasgow Urban Hotel in Scotland, United Kingdom.
The theme for the event is “Promoting Multistakeholder Partnership to Achieve Agenda 2030 and 2063”.
The Africa Diaspora Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Investment Summit and Excellence Awards 2019 will be a pivotal gathering where we will share vital collaboration tools, appropriate technologies, and forge a vibrant professional MSMEs network of global Partners in Empowerment – united in action for our sustainable future.
OBJECTIVES
Hosted both as capacity building forum and excellence awards event, participants in this gathering will access the tools they need to engage meaningfully with global investment opportunities, solve the “Missing Middle” by identifying the requisite financial intermediaries, promote specific financing model and a local knowledge footprint, advocate and lobby for good government policies which will eradicate long and bureaucratic application processes, unfair tender procedures bordering on corruption, delayed payments for goods and services, and the lack of enforcement of rule of law that are crucial to the long-term success of MSMEs.
Moreover, the summit seeks to advocate, promote and strengthen the African Diasporas role in development by creating a perfect window of opportunity for engagement.

The Scientific Program Committee invites you to submit one or more abstracts in accordance with the instructions that are provided. Abstract should be no longer than 300 words. An image, graph, diagram or table may be included, provided the full abstract (title, author information, text, figures, references, etc.) fits into an A4 sheet (as defined by the ISO 216 standard). All abstracts must be submitted electronically. Submission of an abstract acknowledges your consent for the abstract to be published in the official programme. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and that they consent to its submission. Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered participants at Africa Diaspora Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Investment Summit and Excellence Awards 2019. NOMINATION FOR EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Through its Banquet and Excellence Awards session, it shall provide a platform for recognizing and awarding excellence in Individuals and Organizations that have played significant roles in the development of the MSMEs sector in Africa. In all 17 excellence awards for noteworthy efforts in MSMEs development in Africa will be awarded with each Award having a specific theme and consisting of a Trophy and a Citation along with a Certificate.
