Hon. Ekow Payin Eduamoah Okyere, the Central Regional Minister, convened a pivotal meeting with NDC communication officers and their deputies at the Banquet Hall of the Regional Coordinating Council in Cape Coast on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
The gathering, facilitated by Madam Gabriella Doris Tetteh, the Central Regional Communication Officer, aimed to address pressing concerns affecting communication officers in the region.
The meeting focused on effective dissemination of government policies, projects, and initiatives to consolidate gains made by the government.
Additionally, discussions centered on supporting newly nominated Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in local communications and exploring employment opportunities and financial resources to enhance the capacity of communicators.
Hon.Okyere shared his efforts since assuming office, highlighting opportunities created for members and reaffirming his commitment to assisting party executives and members in the region.
He emphasized the importance of diligent work from Communication Officers to ensure the success of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama’s government.
Notable attendees included Ing. Abdulai Amo, Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Mr. Joseph Abekah Mensah, Central Regional Deputy Organiser, Nayaar Twumasi Esq., Youth Organiser, and Madam Janet Quansah, Second Deputy Women’s Organiser, alongside prominent NDC media and radio personalities in the Region.
