Students at the Ghana School of Law Accra Main campus will from March 16, 2020 not be able to enter the school with their cars without buying a sticker at the cost of GHc100.00.
According to a public notice sighted by Awake News signed by the School’s Registrar, Mrs. Juliet Adu-Adjei on February 18, 2020, students can only enter the campus with their cars and park upon display of a valid sticker.
“All students who access the car park without car stickers are advised to procure same at the accounts office at GHc100” and “cars without the stickers will not be granted access to the school’s car park after” March 16, 2020 – Mrs. Adu-Adjei said
To be able to buy the sticker, students are expected to produce “photocopy of valid students ID card (front and back)/Admission letter; proof of car ownership (copy of Form A or Form C); Letter of Consent (if the vehicle not in your name) and Proof of academic registration for the academic year (confirmation of payment of fees/resumption approval letter for the academic year)”.
It is not yet clear the motive behind this new policy from the school management.
Awake News is making efforts to speak to the Registrar of the GSL for the reasons behind the new policy and also reach out to some students to hear their comments on the new policy.
Read the notice and stay tuned:
