Dr. Lawrence Appiah, leader of the diaspora progressive movement based in Amirica has lebled the administration of president Nana Akufo as as an undisciplined one.
He questioned why Ghanaians would be quite as though this is the first time the president is tackling the menace of the galamsey,noting that If we fought to stop galamsey in 2019/20, does that not mean we have a past in the fight against galamsey? “Prof. Frimpong Boateng and his son Jojo were the ministers during that time. Why haven’t they been asked about the missing 500 excavators and the “party hia sika” or are they above the law”? he quizzed.
The “reason they are burning the excavators is that they can’t keep custody of them. They can’t keep custody of about 1000 excavators but they can keep custody of billions of Ghana money given to them to manage. Does this make sense to you? They burn about 15 excavators every day and yet they have only 2 excavators distilling the Odaw river. You see the wisdom in the Akufo Addo’s administration? If Akufo Addo has endorsed the burning of the excavators, it means he has admitted that his administration is UNDISCIPLINED” Dr. Lawrence stated .

If we fought to stop galamsey in 2019/20, does that not mean we have a past in the fight against galamsey? So why is nobody talking about how that past ended? If Akufo Addo has endorsed the burning of the excavators, it means he has admitted that his administration is UNDISCIPLINED. Was he not the one who put his presidency on the line to win over galamsey? They lost that fight but still kept his position. Lack of principles, right? When it comes to galamsey fight, Akufo Addo should just shut up. The nonsense we have heard from his administration is enough. He should just SHUT-UP!!!!!
If the President says those whose excavators are burnt can go to court, it means he is doing that deliberately to punish the galamsey areas for voting against him in 2020. He is out there to punish and not to solve the problems. Anyone who thinks Prof Frimpong Boateng failed but Abu Jinapor will succeed in the same administration headed by the mother serpent of corruption, is a joker. The fight against galamsey needs a new face and a new direction. My only hope is when John Mahama comes in 2024, he will have the radical heart to clean-up the judiciary starting from the Supreme Court. There is a lot of work to do there.
