Former Asante Akim North MP Andy Appiah-Kubi has hinted that Dr. Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi, will contest for the NPP presidential candidacy.
Speaking to the media, Appiah-Kubi said preparations are underway for Dr. Acheampong to lead the party in the next presidential race. He described him as the ideal choice to unify and revitalise the NPP.
“Our goal is to present a candidate who can redeem our party, and Bryan is preparing for that mission. He’ll speak for himself soon, but I can confirm that he’s the one. His work speaks volumes,” he noted.
Appiah-Kubi praised Dr. Acheampong’s unique mix of intellectual strength and business success, saying it sets him apart from other contenders.
“If we want intellect, Bryan has it. If we want a proven businessman, he fits that, too. With him, we’re getting both, he’s a symbol of victory,” he added.
He stressed the NPP’s ability to develop Ghana and called for unity to strengthen the party ahead of the elections.
