Residents of Bejamse have urged President Nana Addo’s government to rehabilitate dilapidated roads in the Bejamse electoral Area.

They made this known in a statement released on Wednesday by Amaglo Ransford Edem, urging the government to rehabilitate roads in the area to enhance socioeconomic growth in the District.

According to Mr. Amaglo, Bejamse is one of the older towns in the Krachi Nchumuru district of the Oti region of Ghana that is endowed with farming and fishing activities yet has not been a beneficiary of the National cake.

It also serves as a route to major towns in the Brong Ahafo region like Yeji, Pran, Atebubu, and others for trade and commercial purposes, he said.

Miss Anane Emilia Nyagnese, a resident, speaking to Awake News stated that, “When at all are we, the people of Bejamse as well as Krachi Nchumuru district roads, going to be tarred?

She noted that none of the political parties were able to help tar the road to Bejamse as well as the ones in the entire district.
