Barcelona have secured a crucial victory as Spain’s High Sports Committee (CSD) ruled in their favor regarding the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

The decision ensures both players will be available for the remainder of the season after uncertainty over their eligibility.

The Blaugrana initially registered Olmo and Victor under an emergency injury ruling but later structured a €100m deal involving VIP seats at Camp Nou to maintain their registration.

However, La Liga and the RFEF unregistered the duo after questioning the financial guarantees provided. Barcelona challenged the ruling, and the CSD has now determined that the Monitoring Commission lacked the authority to revoke the players’ licenses.

While this ruling secures Olmo and Victor’s availability for the final months of the season, Barcelona must still navigate salary cap challenges in the summer to re-register them for the next campaign.
