As part of activities to mark this year’s Tutudoza or Vakpor Avenor festival, farmers within the Avenor Traditional Council of the Akatsi South district are set to receive a major boost through an agribusiness forum slated for Thursday 15th November.

The forum will see key industry players engage the farmers on emerging trends of agribusiness, innovative and effective farming practices, application of agrochemicals et al.

Key among the topics for discussion are best post-harvest practices and produce storage, ability to attract financing/ investment, innovative product marketing strategies and best farming practices.

According to the organizers, the program aims at equipping the farmers in order to get a lot more from land.

The event will be hosted at the Letsa Korba Hall of the Akatsi College of Education at exactly 11:30am.
