Former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba has taken a swipe at the Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame over his clandestine move to jail the Minority Leader, Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson.
According to him, the damning revelations by the third accused, Mr Richard Jakpa is a vivid indication of a deliberate attempt to jail Ato Forson at all costs.
Speaking to this portal, Captain Akamba as he’s affectionately called, reiterated that the government’s deliberate move to incarcerate Ato Forson is because the former Deputy Finance Minister has been critical of government business, exposing the rot and hardships supervised by this administration.
He said Ato Forson has continuously exposed the mismanagement of the economy that has plunged the country into extreme suffering among the masses.
Mr Akamba further detailed that, the vociferous MP’s only sin is because he is vocal and seizes every opportunity to expose the Akufo-Addo/ Dr Bawumia-led administration.
Akamba added that the government’s goal is to silence Ato Forson and anyone who is vocal against the government.
