Attack On Hon. Eric Opoku is an attack on the entire B/A NDC
It is unfortunate to hear the attack on the former regional minister of Brong Ahafo Hon. Eric Opoku in his house this afternoon by some uncultured NPP thugs from Asonafo South.
We are told the former Regional minister who is also the Mp for the area is in his constituency to celebrate the Xmas with his constituents when his house was attacked by guys purported to be from the new patriotic party.
The pictures sent to shows how his cars have been damaged as well as his louvers destroyed by the tags.
Early this year after the elections, some of our party faithfuls were beaten, injured and some nearly died in the hands of these same thugs.
The Youth Employment coordinator as well was attacked and his car seized for no reason but because he is related to the former Regional Minister.
Our warning to the NPP is that they should note that they don’t have monopoly over violence in the region especially in Asonafo area.
They should know that NDC Youths are not cowards as they think but just that we always listen to our elders and take their advises.
They should know that we still have the spirit of the old NDC in us and we shall respond to them at the right time.
NPP should know that the time and days of cowardness in the NDC is over and there is no way we shall allow them to intimidate us in the region. NEVER!
These attacks have continued for some time now and the police also look unconcern pretending to be investigating. But the so called vigilante groups should note that their cups will soon be full.
And Ghana Police should also note that we will never sit unconcern for us to be butched with machetes.
We will never allow anymore intimidation from the so called Npp thugs.
We shall never allow our former Regional Minister and party leaders to be terrorised in their own region.
Never Again should this barbaric, uncultured, and inhumane acts be perpetuated on our party faithfuls and in the name of politics.
We want to tell Ghana police that if they continue to hide and drag the issue under the carpet a time will come there will be explosion and they won’t find water to quench the fire that will come out from the explosion.
It has come to time NDC start showing it’s teeth to the Elephants as a sign of warning.
We know their actions are preparations towards putting fear in the youths in the region so that they can have their way in the 2020 elections but we the NDC youths in the region want to tell them that those days of cowardness are over and they should rethink on their plans because they will be fiercely resisted with all our strength and might when the time comes.
We will not tolerate those nonsense from them anymore.
Our National anthem clearly spelt out that we should resist oppressors rule and that is exactly what we will do.
I plead for the NDC youths in Asonafo to calm down and wait for appropriate directives from the constituency and Regional Executives.
We shall surely overcome and afterwards Hallelujah will be our song.

Together we can fight and win the battle against the oppressors.
