[dropcap]G[/dropcap]hanaian skipper, Asamoah Gyan has just sent a heartfelt tribute to the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama via Twitter.
Asamoah Gyan who seemed saddened by the evil by the people of Denkyira Boase, Central Region in his tribute called on Ghanaians to end that barbaric act.
Captain Maxwell Mahama, an officer of the 5th Infantry Battalion of the Ghana Armed Forces, was a victim of mob lynching by local youths who mistook him for an armed robber. The army officer was first beaten, and later burnt on the morning of May 29th, 2017 in Denkyira-Obuasi, Central Region
Meanwhile, over 300 hundreds soldiers have been deployed to Denkyira to go and maintain peace and order in the town.
Asamoah Gyan tweeted;
