The NPP activist made the call hours after the journalist rendered an apology to Ghanaians over her leaked adult tape.

Serwaa Amihere in her apology statement the 5 year old video “severely embarrassed me, my family and my loved ones. It has also exposed my employers, and the businesses and brands I represent to embarrassment.”

She said the video which was leaked on April 2, 2024 came after “almost 5 months after threats and extortion, along with efforts by the police to bring the extortionists to book.”

The GHOne presenter added that at the time the video was recorded, “I considerably underestimated the extent of my influence, my potentials, what I would become, and what I would come to represent to this society.”

She thus, apologized for the “embarrassment, disappointment, and frustration which this matter has caused” everyone especially her family and loved ones and businesses and brands she represents.

Despite her open apology, Frank Mandela Bawumia believes the it is not enough and that the journalist should resign or be fired by her employer, GHOne TV.

“This is unacceptable. She should just resign. Someone was fired for less…,” the NPP activist wrote in a Facebook post sighted by Awakenewsroom.
