The immediate past National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), HE Alhaji Said Sinare, engaged with the former Zongo Caucus coordinators in the greater Accra region earlier today as part of his engagement with critical stakeholders in the Zongo communities ahead of the May 13th presidential primaries and the 2024 general election.

The meeting, which is the second leg of an interactive dialogue, as convened at the instance of the national leadership of the party was meant to stimulate an endorsement for H.E. John Dramani Mahama and it is a platform he is creating across all the Zongo communities in the country to rub minds with the grassroots of the party to solicit their votes for NDC’s victory.

As part of his reconciliation moves in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), the former High Commissioner indicated that the meeting became necessary as the party needed a united front to recapture power from the insensitive NPP.

H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare believes that with a united party, there is nothing that cannot be done to ensure victory for the NDC.

The meeting ended on a sweet note as the former Zongo Caucus coordinators of the party agreed to call a regular meeting to decide issues that will promote the development of the NDC and subsequently return it to power.
