The Executive Secretary of Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH) Mr. Emmanuel Salaam Azubila has slammed President Akufo-Addo for paying deaf ears to many serious national issues raised by CSO’s that are likely to jeopardize our country’s democracy yet calling of the same CSO’s he ignored to condemn Mahama over the Akyem Mafia and Akyem Saawa Boys post.
In a Facebook post, Mr. Azubila said, “today the former President said something against Akyems and you are calling for the voice of CSO’s?.”
“Please Mr. President react to the calls made earlier by all CSO’s before we pay heed to yours.” – he wrote

The president should respond to CSO’s call to sack Hawa Kumson who burnt motto bikes and fire gunshots at Kasoa voters registration centre as advised by peace council, the president should respond to KT Hammond comments that Voltarians are togoles, The president should recall the Auditors-General to post based CSO’s petition, The president should respond to the Banda killing and violence, the president should also respond to the EC belligerent posture, the president should respond to the military deployment that were terrorizing Ghanaians in registrations centers whilst we have immigration and police in the country and the president should respond to Emil Shot commission’s report to punish National Security Minister and prosecute the mask armed men who brutalized innocent Ghanaians at the Ayawaso West Wuogon by elections.
These and many cases raised by CSO’s need to be responded to before calling on us to condemn John Mahama for his comment about Agyapa fraudulent deal and Akyem Sakawa boys comment which is directly linked to you.
If Nana Addo cannot sleep when he heard the Former President calling him and his boys Akyem Sakawas this is an indication that he has subjected Ghanaians to pains for years with his silence on national issues raised by CSO’s.
Yes indeed, the president call on the CSO’s to condemn JM comment is in order. However, Nana Addo as a president don’t regard the good works of CSO’s in Ghana since his assumption of office. National peace council told him to sack Hawa Kumson he kept quiet over it.
If Nana Addo is now calling for civil society organizations to condemn what JM said about Akims,we are sorry we will not honor his call because he who calls for equity must come with clean hands. This is a protest to many national issues we raised as CSO’s and the president failed to comment on them.
Many pressing issues has been raised by CSO’s but Nana Addo declined to comment on them and always ignore us. Nana Addo is calling on us now? Ooohh Ya da kuraaaa yen tii ye mpo.
