The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has described the current Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration as the “biggest political scam” ever inflicted on Ghanaians.
According to him, the massive corruption scandals, tyranny, hardship, and cronyism that Ghanaians are witnessing today are unprecedented in the 67 years since the country gained independence.
e further argued that a victory for him in the December 7 presidential election would pave the way for him to redeem the country from the deep mess into which the NPP government has plunged it.
Speaking at the 2024 NDC manifesto launch event held in Winneba, on Saturday, August 24, former President Mahama said, “your vote on December 7 will end tyranny, cronyism, corruption, and hardship. It will also pave the way for the vision, experience, and trustworthiness I, John Dramani Mahama, will restore to the Flagstaff House.”
“… This NPP administration has been the biggest political scam pulled on Ghanaians since our independence in 1957,” he added.
