The Western Regional Communication Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Issah Fuseini indicated that the NPP manages Ghana’s economy better than all past governments.
According to Issah Fuseini, the data clearly shows that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration introduced policies and programs geared towards improving the living standard of Ghanaians. He thus claimed that the current administration has done more for Ghana than any past administration.
Mr Fuseini added that Akufo-Addo increased workers’ salaries to improve their living conditions. He said though the prices of goods have skyrocketed, the increased salaries balance the equation and improve living standards.
Touting the government’s achievement, Issah Fuseini said during Akufo-Addo’s worst moment when COVID-19 struck, he still ensured workers were well catered for. He mentioned the cost of living allowance (COLA) and GHC1200 professional allowance as some good things done by the president for Ghanaian workers.
“Even in the COVID-19 period, during the lockdown, the government was paying teachers,” Issah Fuseini stated.
Speaking on the party’s potential in the upcoming elections, Issah Fuseini said the Volta Region has been a no-go area for the NPP over the years. He, however, said the party is making gains in the region and would soon make a huge statement.
He noted that the NDC uses propaganda to deflate the NPP’s performance. He said Ghanaians should be vigilant and decode any NDC campaign message which seeks to dent the credibility of Akufo-Addo and the NPP administration.
Issah Fuseini appealed to Ghanaians to endorse the candidature of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as President by voting for him on December 7.
