The level of arrogance and disrespect displayed by the Police CID Tiwaa Addo Dankwa against the people of Ghana is disgusting and demeaning! In fact, her continuous stay in office as the head of the investigative department of the Ghana Police Service cast a big slur on the credibility of the first gentleman of the land who’s signature sent the woman to that office.
Before the appointment of Mrs Tiwaa Dankwa Addo to the high office in the police force, her name has consistently been in the news for all the wrong reasons. It is mind-boggling that Mrs Tiwaa still has the morality to investigate persons of high moral standing such as the case of Hon Offosu Ampofo National Chairman for NDC. It is even more ridiculous that President Akuffo Addo who seemingly has some amount of credibility saw no wrong in this woman’s continuous stay in office as CID boss.
Though most Ghanaians have condemned Mrs Tiwaa Dankwa Addo over acts of unprofessionalism in her unguided pronouncements on the famous “Tadii” girls kidnapping brouhaha, I think she ought not to have been allowed this freedom to be throwing more tantrums.
It is recalled that, Mrs Tiwaa Dankwa Addo had announced in a press conference that, the “Taadi” kidnapped girls were found and assured Ghanaians that the girls will be brought home soon to reunite with their families. Three weeks after her pronouncement, there was no trace of the girs. This sparked lots of controversies as the desperate families threatened to demonstrate against the government. In an ill-informed attempt to justify her recklessness, posited that her statement was misunderstood by Ghanaians. Maybe Mrs Tiwaa Dankwa Addo thought that she was addressing Togolese in her press confab.
It has become clear that Mrs Tiwaa Dankwa Addo has the full backing of the President and that suggests her boldness in blowing her own trumpets in the ears of Ghanaians.
In conclusion, the continuous stay in office of this unfit Woman leaves the President of Ghana with no morality in dealing with his airing appointees. Tiwaa is unfit as CID boss and must be fired with immediate effect.
