The former Lawmaker, who is also contesting again to be elected to serve the people of Ekumfi once again said during the previous administration the country was safe and peaceful until Ghanaians mistakenly followed lies and voted the NPP into power.

Hon Abeiku Crentsil again said that kidnapping was not seen in the country and the rate at which it is escalating, he fears that if the government does not do something about it it will be out of hand.

He noted that due to unemployment, under-employment and rushed educational policies a lot of the youth will have no option than to resort to such vices just to earn a living. He said if the government will find a lasting solution to unemployment and declare it as a national security threat.

He suggested that the government of Ghana should engage all the security agencies and the ministries in charge of security to draw new ways and solution to bring these killings and Kidnapping to an end before it becomes a norm in Ghana.

He also advised Ghanaians especially the ladies who are mostly following the money to be extra vigilant not to fall prey to such tricks which are used by these modern day kidnappers. He said he has placed the youth at the center of his coming back as Ekumfi MP and is putting up good plans to make these vices unattractive to them in his constituency.

He again said his doors are open to any youth who wish to be part of his ambition and his NDC government since NDC is best the party that put the Youth at the heart of its planning.
