The media arm of Mr. Samuel Benedict Kwaku Nugblega’s campaign team has refuted the report claiming that its Parliamentary candidate, Samuel Nugblega is quitting the election exercise slated for May 13th, 2023.
The campaign team in a statement signed By Mr. Japhet Festus Gbede described the report as a malicious and ill political Agenda meant to revive the sinking hopes of his opponents supporters.
There have been reports that the alleged frontrunner of the 2023 Parliamentary primaries of the Akatsi South branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr. Samuel Nugblega would step down for Mr. William Kpormatsi.
However, the communication bureau of the campaign of Mr. Nugblega in a statement issued by the Japhet Festus Gbede on Wednesday afternoon declined the publication charging the umbrella family in Akatsi South to disregard and treat the news item with the contempt it deserves.
Part of the statement reads, “As we all know Mr. Samuel B.K Nugblega has the capacity, track record, the right attitude, the financial mussels, and the political will to lead our great NDC party and transform the constituency politically and economically to the satisfaction and admiration of all, we would want to declare unequivocally that this is just one of the rotten strategies of certain malicious and desperate persons who have failed in their stewardship and, as a result, want to resort to these meaningless, brainwashing motives to reap some hope for their supporters.
As a result, individuals responsible for such deceptions should go home and sleep if they have no campaign message for our admirable delegates”

RE- MERGER DISCUSSIONS BETWEEN EXPERIENCED KPORMATSI AND LESS EXPERIENCED NUGBEGAH HITS STALEMATE.
It has come to the attention of the campaign team of Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega that our opponents, having realized they have no sure path to victory in the May 13th, 2023, Parliamentary elections, upped their campaign of calumny, disinformation, and misinformation on Wednesday by sponsoring fake news against the leader of the team and the next Parliamentary candidate of the Akatsi South Constituency NDC, Hon. Samuel B.K. Nugblega.
The forged story published by an unrecognized and fake news portal created recently for such ill purposes was disseminated to deceive the gullible public, most especially the delegates of the National Democratic Congress in the Akatsi South constituency, that Mr. Samuel Nugblega and his wonderful team has succumbed to a political pressure and agreed to drop out of the impending May 13th, 2023, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Primaries.
As they desperately hoped and wished that, their efforts should ultimately lead to this decision, we want to notify the general public for that matter, our dear Akatsi South NDC delegates, and the entire NDC fraternity that;
1. The campaign team of Mr. Nugblega denies each and every allegation contained in the said publication, which is a figment of the publisher’s imagination.
2. We want to most emphatically state that the entire opprobrious and denigrating story referred to is most misleading, baseless, false, malicious, part of a desperate ill-political agenda, and totally bereft of any foundation.
3. We want to categorically state that we are not in any way surprised by the antics of the sinking opponents of our leader, Mr. Samuel Nugblega, but we found it shocking how quickly some of our respected media organizations gulped the falsehood and sinker without attempting to verify the authenticity of the well-calculated and politically motivated story before featuring it in their airwaves.
While we want to stay above the fray and stand by our commitment to inspire our people and restore their faith and confidence in the immense goodness and greatness of our party in accordance with the party’s constitution, we want to serve notice to all the agents of disinformation and their collaborating media platforms that our leader, Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega, is not just a front-runner in our politics in the Akatsi South Constituency; he remains the aspirant with a high level of integrity, focus, and purpose, who has so much regard for his delegates and for that matter the entire Avenor land.
He will therefore not take the constituents for granted in a serious contest such as the Parliamentary Primaries to step down or merge with anyone.
It is unfortunate therefore that anyone will, in his or her wildest imagination, fabricate such a ridiculous misrepresentation to discredit the honorable man and mislead his teeming supporters in particular and our constituents in general into believing such deceptions.

As we challenge the cynics of our leader to produce video evidence of our principal engaging someone on a subject of that Sort, we want to warn that our campaign organization stands ready to confront any defamatory publications against our leader, Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega.
Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega, the employment commando and the only aspirant who thinks about a secured economic future for the constituents and therefore represents the hope of the youths of our land in particular and the entire populace of the constituency, will not step down or merge with anyone!
Those who wish so are advised to redirect their energies to campaigns that will benefit their aspirants rather than dissipate positive energy in a negative direction.
We are by this release charging and appealing to the teeming members of our great NDC, our respected delegates, as well as followers, well-wishers, friends, and loved ones of our revered Mr. Samuel B. K. Nugblega, to disregard and ignore such cheap and diversionary antics aimed at causing confusion and tension in the Akatsi South NDC.
We want to end here by saying we shall no longer allow the prevailing recklessness and utter disregard for principles and values of the NDC to continue unchallenged in the Akatsi South Constituency.
