The entire Akatsi South Constituency mourn Rawlings on Kaleawo fm , a local radio station based in the Akatsi township, opposite the Ghana commecial Bank in the Akatsi South Constituency today.

The scores of callers that called into the program shares the good part of Mr. Rawlings where you can hear several of them crying unceasingly on air.

Some says, his principles of probity and accountability will forever be missed.

Even though the entire NDC membership in the Akatsi South constituecy halt all Campaign activities in the Constituency, some other callers who seems to be members of the ruling Npp and floating voters said they will vote for the opposition NDC to Honor and pay the last respect to the first president of the 4th republic.

The former president we understands passed on, yesterday, November 12, 2020 at exactly 10:10am, after a brief illness.

According to state-owned Daily Graphic, the former President had been on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for about a week for an undisclosed ailment. He was 73.

It will be recalled that Mr Rawlings recently lost and buried his mother last month.

Jerry John Rawlings was born in Accra on 22nd June 1947, to a Ghanaian mother from Dzelukope, near Keta, in the Volta Region, and a Scottish father.
