Charles Akwasi Asiedu, the Ahafo regional organizer and son of the General Secretary of the NDC, Asiedu Nketia has called on members and sympathizers of the NDC to support the national women’s organizer Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw and her deputies rather than rock the boat of victory that awaits the NDC in the 2020 elections.
Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw, who is from the Tano South Constituency of the Ahafo Region and the Parliamentary Candidate of the NDC has been criticized for her ‘silence’ in the media but Charles Akwasi Asiedu has reminded the NDC that the job of the national women’s organizer is to mobilise the women of the party and country without necessarily bringing it into the public eyes.
Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw contesting in the Tano South constituency was as a result of pressure from both the party members and members of the opposition who have pledged to support her to retake the seat. She is strategically and effectively combining both roles, working to ensure victory for the. NDC at the polls.
Some party persons have sarcastically referenced the running mate, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as playing the role of the National Women’s Organizer, whiles others have resorted to various conspiracy theories.
Tano South is one of the keenly contested constituencies in Ghana and Charles Akwasi Asiedu was assaulted by a police officer at the recently ended voters transfer at Bechem.
