The Founder and Leader of the Diaspora Progressive Movement based in USA, Dr. Lawrence Appiah has said the Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong has embarked on yet another mission to destroy Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni just because he (Ken) knows those running the country are jokers and cannot go after him.
“If Ghana now under Nana Addo and Maame Tiwaah were to be a serious country, the first “person of interest” to be arrested is Hon. Ken Agyapong.”
“Now because he has seen jokers running the country, he has embarked on another mission. He will go all out to ensure that Manasseh Awuni is destroyed by any means but will still be walking freely in the country. He wants to destroy Manasseh for taking GHC1000 but defending Mr. Boateng Agyei of PPA, who has defrauded the state of millions of cedis. According to him, Ken Agyapong outdistances on Manasseh are clear diversion of focus from other seriuos issues like the PDS scandal, NAM 1, collapsed Banks, PPA among others.
“What I will tell Ghanaians is to forget about Ken Agyapong’s diversions and focus on the crimes on hand: NAM 1, PDS, collapsed Banks, PPA, etc.”
“We should beg the President to let us finish discussing one scandal before he produces another one. The current rate of scandals coming out every week is creating traffic in our minds.” – He added

“Meanwhile, the PPA scandal has been on air for about one week but Jerry Rawlings said on video that he has not heard about it. When there were perceived scandals under the NDC, such scandals first hit the media from Rawlings’s house. In other words, the home of Rawlings was first to hear about them. No wonder, Pastor Otabil now watches animals on TV, instead of human idiots who will annoy him and make him sick.”
