Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, MP for the Effutu constituency, has been captured on video striking a police officer during the opposition New Patriotic Party’s #SaveTheJudiciary demonstration.

The protest, held in response to the suspension of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo by President Mahama, turned chaotic when a confrontation erupted between some NPP members and the police.
