I was honoured to attend several Easter celebrations across Afadzato South District as the District Chief Executive. These joyous occasions brought our communities together in a shared mission—to raise funds for vital development projects such as the construction of community centres, school buildings, street lighting, and road networks. The spirit of self-help and collective effort demonstrated by our people is truly inspiring.
Using the authority vested in the office under the Local Government Act, 2016 (Act 936), I took the opportunity to advance key development plans for the district. The District Assembly remains fully committed to supporting all self-help initiatives, which are essential to the district’s progress.
Our work is firmly anchored in the vision of the Afadzato South District Assembly:
“To become an epitome of sustainable development and a first-class district assembly in Ghana.”
I also emphasised how our local efforts align with the President’s “Reset Ghana” agenda—an ambitious drive focused on economic recovery, inclusive growth, and empowering communities through resettlement and reintegration programmes.
Together, we are building a stronger, more vibrant Afadzato South. I remain committed to working hand in hand with every community to realise our shared vision for a prosperous future.
