Properties acquired by Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), since his appointment in 2018, have been revealed.

According to Attorney-General and Minister of Justice Dr Dominic Ayine, investigations into Kwabena Adu-Boahene’s operations have revealed a network of properties and dubious financial transactions that are allegedly linked to plundered state funds.

Dr. Dominic Ayine disclosed during a news conference on Monday that Adu-Boahene embezzled millions of dollars meant for a cyber defense project and used them to invest in Accra and foreign real estate.

He said that the former NSB chief had accumulated substantial personal riches over the years by embezzling money from a government contract through a private business he and his wife ran secretly.

A comprehensive list of homes, financial transactions, and luxury items thought to have been obtained fraudulently by Mr. Adu-Boahene has now been compiled by authorities.
