Accra Zango Spotted At Peace Launch Campaign at Dansoman

The Greater Accra Zango Chief, Sarki Alhaji Yahaya Hamisu Baako and his Entourage was over the weekend spotted at a peace campaign launch in Dansoman a suburb of Accra.

The peace campaign was launched by Agent of Peace Campaign on the theme “I Am An Agent Of Peace”. The Campaign aims at ensuring peace before, during and after the 2020 election slated for December 7 this year. The occasion was graced by some security agencies, Ga Chiefs and Opinion leaders and host of others.

The Accra Zango Chief used the occasion to call on Ghanaian youth to desist from any act of violence during this election campaign season. Adding that Ghana is the only place we have as Ghanaians, therefore there is the need for every Ghanaian to preserve the peace the country has over the years enjoyed. Ghana is known all over the World as a beacon of Africa democracy and expressed optimism that this year’s election will be as peaceful as all elections previously held. He calls on all stakeholders, interest groups and political parties to consider Ghana first by preaching peace and unity to their sympathizers which he said will help curtail the current tension in the country ahead of the elections. He also Advised the group (Agent Of Peace Campaign) to partner with other youth organizations with the same agenda to effectively spread their message of peace.

Alhaji Sarki Yahaya Hamisu Baako is recognized by many as a peace-loving Chief and an expert in conflict resolution. His entourage includes Mallam Imrana Adamu Baako (Marafa), Mallam Salisu Adamu Baako (Imam) Alhaji Umar Farouk Salaga (Wammai), Alhaji Baba Gambo Baako and the Sadauna all from the Palace of the Accra Zango Chief.
