Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has urged the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to acknowledge the country’s ongoing economic challenges as they campaign for the December general elections.
During the launch of the NPP Ablekuma South Constituency election campaign, he emphasized that the government should not create the impression that everything is fine in the country.
“We must first acknowledge the hardships, ask for another chance for the NPP, and demonstrate that we’ve learned from our past errors” – he stated.
The Assin Central MP stressed the government’s need to issue a full and unconditional apology to the Ghanaian people.
“Let’s approach Ghanaians with humility, apologize, and admit our mistakes before asking for their vote. Ignoring the hardships Ghanaians are facing will make it impossible for them to accept our message” he stated.
Ken Agyapong called on NPP supporters to unite to secure a decisive victory in the December 7 elections.
“We will all support Dr. Bawumia [NPP flagbearer] to win,” – he concluded.
