Abronye and Hon. Asomah Cheremeh must be invited for questioning and must be investigated over their numerous corruption allegations
The New Patriotic Party won power in 2016 elections because of their numerous corruption allegations against the NDC government.
The good people of Ghana trusted and voted for them based on the [ads1]promise that immediately they assume power, they will jail all NDC appointees they claimed to be corrupt per their own definition.
In order to buy time, they decided to hide behind the special prosecutor bill which has finally been passed by Parliament.
Just one year after wining election, the Senior Minister came out to tell us that the corruption allegations made against the NDC were all based on perception and they had no empirical evidence when making those allegations and it’s now his team is looking for evidence before they can start prosecution.
My President promised us he will investigate every corruption allegations that will come up against his appointees in his government.
But My President has failed.
My President has failed to investigate the BOST scandal.
He failed to investigate the KENBOND scandal.
He failed to investigate the recent premix fuel scandal
He failed to investigate Bugri Naabu and his bribery goat scandal
He failed to investigate the 15million GPS scandal involving the vice President.
He failed to investigate Boakye Agyarko 100,000 bribery scandal
My President failed to properly investigate the two deputy Chief of staffs bribery allegations.
My President has even shown his love corrupt officials by promoting Madam Tiwaa Addo Danquah as the CID boss. A police officer who is well known for negotiating on behalf of corrupt government officials.
Now his own Party’s Regional Youth organizer for B/A has accused his regional minister of countless corruption allegations and my President has again turned blind eyes on it.
Now my question, is this Nana Addo’s new method of fighting corruption?
John Mahama never covered up for any corrupt official but allowed the investigative bodies to do their work anytime allegations pops up without interference.
John Mahama was the first President in Africa who has allowed his own appointees to be hauled before court when he was the President.
This showed how committed the NDC was in fighting corruption unlike the NPP whose agenda was to cover up for their corrupt officials.
We the Youths of Brong Ahafo therefore humbly ask the President to as a matter of urgency investigate Abronye, the regional minister and the Maxwel Mahama(special aid to the B/A Regional minister) on the several corruption allegations they have accused each others of involvement in the region.
Brong Ahafo deserve better.
