In February this year, the MP showed love to some long-serving medical staff at the same facility and presented to them laptops to remind all staff about how much their efforts are appreciated.

This second visit to the hospital on April 22, saw the lawmaker giving away suction machines, patient monitors, recliner chairs, theatre beds, patient lockers, Flat Screen TVs, Wheelchairs, Microwave, Digital Weighing Scales, Refrigerator, a set of 30 beds with accompanying mattresses and bedside lockers, medications, among others.

In a post on his Facebook wall sighted by Awake News, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa expressed his gratitude to persons who volunteered to assist him and prayed for blessings on the lives of health officers.

His Facebook post reads:

“Glory be to God for an Easter Monday to remember and to cherish.

Happy to have spent the day at the Battor Catholic Hospital where we successfully donated vital medical equipment worth over Two Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS200,000.00); and hosted a Children’s party for all the children on admission at the expanded and refurbished Children’s Ward.

Some of the items donated include suction machines, patient monitors, recliner chairs, theatre beds, patient lockers, Flat Screen TVs, Wheelchairs, Microwave, Digital Weighing Scales, Refrigerator, a set of 30 beds with accompanying mattresses and bedside lockers, medications and indeed many more items.

Sincere appreciation to all my dear friends and volunteers who extended a helping hand. May the Lord continue to bless our fantastic medical professionals who inspire me to do more.”
