Former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta

Blakk Rasta has launched a scathing attack on former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and his successor, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, over their management of Ghana’s economy.

Speaking on the Urban Blend show on 3FM, the reggae musician and broadcaster expressed his discontent with their leadership.

He criticized the decision to bring Ofori-Atta into office, calling it a rushed move with no clear plan. Blakk Rasta was particularly angered by how pensioners were treated during Ofori-Atta’s tenure, claiming many faced financial ruin, and some even died in poverty.

He demanded a heartfelt apology from the former minister, stating that the spirits of those affected would continue to haunt him.

The musician also accused Ofori-Atta of being arrogant, refusing to step aside despite his policies clearly harming the economy.

Furthermore, he condemned the e-levy, which was promised as a solution but ultimately did not prevent Ghana from turning to the IMF for financial aid.
