A Parliamentary candidate hopeful of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Akatsi South constituency, Mr. Benedict Samuel Nugblega, the Director of Human Resources at the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) has promised to change the fortune of the party cum the constituency through the provision of employment, adequate lobbying, industrialization and ensuring unity among the party’s rank and files if elected.

The party’s presumptive Parliamentary candidate who stated this during his media engagement with the media yesterday ahead of his vetting lamented what he described as a poor local economic situation, underdevelopment, disunity, and unemployment with a promise to find a lasting solution to it if elected.

Mr. Nugblega popularly known as Efo Dɔnyui Wɔla said the party’s respected delegates should vote for him based on his integrity and ability to serve them efficiently, urging the delegates to do away with the monetization of the election and ethnic sentiments being sponsored by some of his contenders.

He noted that Akatsi South needed a leader with vision at this critical period, hence the need for them to vote for him during next month’s election.

Nugblega who insisted that he remained the most qualified among all the candidates for the May election, told the delegates not to allow anyone to use money or “it’s my turn” to convince and intimidate them on election day.

his year’s election is about character and who we can trust, and because of this I am the most qualified person in the race, we are going to stop poverty among our youths. If it is about commitment, I have compassion and commitment”.

“They are making our youths into street boys and if given the nod, I will bring them back home to their parents through job creation because we will create the enabling environment in the constituency. Please vote for me to end poverty, underdevelopment, and unemployment”.

Earlier, the media arm of Mr. Samuel Nugblega’s campaign team described their principal as the most qualified, credible, and fit for the job among other Parliamentary candidates
