The Ghana Taekwondo Federation through the sponsorship of Epsilon Security Limited has spent about GH₵60,000 on the renovation of the D.G Hathramani Sports Hall at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The renovation works was done to enable Ghana get a state-of-the-art Sports Hall which meets international standards to host the first Ghana International Taekwondo Open Championship slated for August 18, to August 19, 2017.

The new sports hall can boost of the installation of modern equipment that can

facilitate the hosting of major international tournaments.

The Hathramani Sports Hall had it last facelift over five years ago when Ghana hosted the West Africa Games. It was then renovated by rlg.
