NPP holds conference for “NPP Teachers Network” in Ho

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday, October, 11th, 2020 held its conference for the NPP Teachers Network in the volta region, Ho.

The event took place at the Ho Technical university in the volta Region, it was part of preparations towards the 7th December 2020 elections. The conference was debuded “with Nana Addo in our classrooms we have performed better “.

Ahead of the launch, the National  Organiser of the party, Sammy Awuku said it is necessary to espouse why teachers are better of with His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo, to that of former president John Dramani Mahama. The conference was supervised by the minister of education Matthew Opoku Prempeh, deputy minister of sports and the Volta regional NNP chairman.

The minister said the conference was highlighted important policies that will help transform Ghana’s education sector for teachers. He therefore made an assertion that four years, there have not been a teacher demonstration or strike; that in itself, should send NDC into the bush, if they were managing well, the car would not be parked near the bush.,”

The Minister also added that the cancellation of the Teacher Training Allowance by the erstwhile John Mahama was the last straw drawn from the camel’s back.

The conference had a lot of teachers from all over the region attending the program.
