A Widow, Gifty Ayertey 31 years old, a resident of Akuse in the Eastern Region who lost her husband in a robbery attack is appealing to the general public to comes her aid and assist her to cater for her five children.

Gifty’s husband Mark Kwao, a 41 year old driver, was shot dead by armed robbers at Aseseso when he was on his way from Koforidua to Akuse in last Wednesday dawn.

The robbers heavily armed with pump action guns, took advantage of the secluded nature of the road and made way with unspecified amount of money from the passengers.

The deceased driver left behind five (5) children whose ages range from 11, 9, 5, 4 years old and five months.

The Widow who has no helper is appealing to the Government and Ghana Police Service to do something about her husband’s death by ensuring the perpetrators are brought to book to prevent them from meting the act on others.

The widow who can’t control her tears is appealing to the government and other NGO’s to come to her aid, to ease her take care of the children.
