Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has directed some shots at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the time limit it has given to appoint a substantive Black Stars coach following the sacking of C.K Akonnor.
On Monday, September 13, 2021, the GFA announced that it had parted ways with C.K Akonnor and also indicated that its Executive Council had formed a three (3) Member Committee made up of Vice President Mark Addo, Upper East Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Salifu Zida and Dr. Randy Abbey to find a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the Black Stars within the next 72 hours.
However, Manasseh Azure has found the 72-hour limit for the appointment of the next Black Stars coach to be very problematic.
In a Facebook post sighted by Awake News, Manasseh asked if the three Member Committee are scouting for an emergency contraceptive.
“72 hours s3n? Are you scouting for an emergency contraceptive or a long-term coach”, Manasseh Azure quizzed.
